Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of partnership development experience, including identifying partners, structuring, and discussing agreements.
  • Experience working with TV platform developers related to premium video content distribution.
  • Experience with digital media (i.e. advertising, ad serving, business generation) and key platforms and trends (i.e. desktop, mobile, video).



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Connected TV ecosystem and business models (e.g. ads based business generation).
  • Demonstrated business acumen, and the ability to navigate and influence different personalities within a complex business landscape and matrixed environment.
  • Ability to prioritize using analytical abilities, with a demonstrated global mindset thinking and acting for both local and global needs.
  • Demonstrated passion for the Media and Entertainment content industry and a perspective on its future evolution.



About the job

Our Global Alliances, Strategy and Operations team leads development of Google's most complex partnerships. In this Product Partnerships role, you will help craft Google's overall affiliate strategy and work with internal product teams, aligning our partnerships with business objectives. This includes analyzing partnership relationships, conducting competitive assessments and coordinating with multiple product teams including Chrome, Social, Knowledge, Android and YouTube.

Google TV, Android TV, and Chromecast with Google TV are products that help shape the future of television and the connected home as consumers continue to adopt Over the Top (OTT) and connected TV viewing.

The Google TV/Android TV Partnership and Go-to-Market teams drive strategic partnerships with a range of players including Media and Entertainment companies, TV Original Equipment Manufacturers, retailers, and operators to enhance the consumer experience on Google TV and increase distribution of Google's TV products globally.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product and Business Development to implement business generation strategy, including developing plans for key partners, and sharing the vision of commercial content programs with partners for broader alignment.
  • Manage existing content programs including content promotions and help build out new commercial content programs, acting as an agreement advisor to help discuss and establish key agreements.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new business model opportunities globally, including building business cases as required to assess commercial value, and giving consideration to important product and partner priorities and platform-level concerns.
  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of Google TV and related business generation product strategies and the digital Media and Entertainment content landscape in the region.
  • Partner with Business Development, Product, Strategy and cross-functional teams to advance a unified Go-to-Market and business generation strategy.
