Our Content Design Team powers the content experience for Intuit's workforce on our company intranet and the team owns the care and maintenance of the beautiful new taxonomy.
This role will report into the Content Design Team manager and be part of our People Experience team, which is in our People & Places organization. The role supports global content, not just content in the U.S.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of experience with backend content strategy or information architecture, well beyond website UI.
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, Linguistics, or another related field, or the equivalent in relevant experience.
- Experience with knowledge graphing or similar work.
- Experience in improving and maintaining content management systems and taxonomies.
- Technical aptitude; familiarity with CMS solutions like ServiceNow and metadata-driven solutions like chatbots.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions.
- Passion for and experience in delivering measurable outcomes through an awesome employee experience.
- Understanding of HR business and terminology strongly preferred.
How you will lead
In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team in People & Places and Intuit's technology organization to maintain and expand the architectural foundation of content and case management systems for Intuit's global workforce.
You will:
- Make and help implement recommendations to continuously content performance and engagement.
- Maintain and expand the foundational content and case management structure, including managing a complex taxonomy used to power People (HR) content on the intranet, Intuit's expert platform and case management, along with controlled vocabularies, dictionaries, keywords and more.
- Bring in and drive the adoption of taxonomy and content management best practices.
- Partner with the content team to evolve and improve content systems that promote performance, reuse, dynamic assembly, and distribution across multiple channels.
- Collaborate with teams to define, conduct, and analyze rapid innovation experiments when needed.
- Analyze ongoing quantitative and qualitative feedback and data from employee interactions, such as search or case management, to identify trends and insights into employee needs.
- Coordinate discovery activities, gathering requirements and use cases, conducting audits and gap analyses, creating maps and matrices, etc.
- Contribute content strategy inputs to natural language processing and personalization.
