The Associate Producer works closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver against the project plan. This person is dedicated to digital content production for a specific Amplify business unit/product, working to understand production tasks and processes, system capabilities, and pedagogy. The person in this role may occasionally be asked to work on projects outside of their assigned business unit/product to help the team meet priority deliverables.
Responsibilities of the Associate Producer, Digital Production:

  • Complete assigned day-to-day production tasks; update trackers
  • Assemble, coordinate, author content into the content management system, review, QA and resolve issues
  • Contribute to the continued development and maintenance of projects
  • Clearly communicate details among cross-functional teams (digital production, curriculum, design, product management, engineering) to ensure alignment of implementation
  • Distill input from the team and collaborators, developing the best approach for incorporating feedback into project executions
  • Collaborate with all Digital Production team members to define and manage goals, scope, specific deliverables, and scheduling needs
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements to workflow and production pathways
  • Facilitate ambitious timelines and proactively address bottlenecks
  • Ensure efficient and timely production of all project elements


Basic Qualifications of the Associate Producer, Digital Production:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a digital media production role, with a history of successfully delivering digital products
  • Strong organizational skills, creativity and focus
  • Experience in Google Docs, Sheets, and other project planning and tracking applications
  • Experience with asset and content management systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills


Preferred Qualifications of the Associate Producer, Digital Production:

  • Experience with full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and XML
  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Experience with mobile/tablet/web content strategy, production and development
  • Experience working in education
  • Spanish language proficiency a plus
