Location: This role is based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY office. We have a hybrid remote/in-office model and are in office 3 days a week.

Founded in 2018 by physics PhDs, Swayable is led by the former Executive Director for Digital Strategy at the New York Times. Clients include major consumer-facing brands (Amazon, Airbnb, Square, Paramount Pictures), technology companies (Meta, Google), researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford) and mission-aligned advocacy campaigns (including multiple Democratic Presidential candidates).

The Role:
We are seeking a Content Lead to develop and execute a world-class content strategy that positions Swayable as a thought leader in communication and data-driven insights. In this role, you’ll combine creativity and analytics to create a range of content that inspires, educates, and drives business outcomes.
You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and executive teams to develop engaging multimedia content—including articles, white papers, videos, social campaigns, case studies and sales enablement materials. As the steward of our brand’s narrative, you’ll translate complex ideas into compelling stories that resonate with our B2B audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy:
- Develop a cohesive content strategy aligned with Swayable’s business objectives and key initiatives.
- Shape thought leadership programs by crafting executive-level communications, white papers and research-driven content.
- Content Creation:
- Lead the development of high-impact case studies, insights reports, and social media content that demonstrate the value of Swayable’s solutions.
- Produce engaging video content to elevate brand presence across platforms.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on keynote presentations and industry events
- Create sales enablement materials, including presentations, one-pagers, and playbooks, to empower our revenue teams.
- Insights-Driven Storytelling:
- Partner with our research team to translate data into compelling, actionable narratives for marketing and thought leadership.
- Build frameworks for showcasing customer success stories and product outcomes.
- Amplification & Distribution:
- Own content distribution strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to amplify thought leadership and insights.
- Project Management:
- Manage content production timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on brand.
- Work with external vendors and freelancers when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of proven experience in editorial roles, branded content, B2B content marketing, or thought leadership positions.
- Expertise in producing a variety of content formats, including articles, white papers, case studies, videos, social campaigns, and sales collateral.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messages.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into storytelling assets.
- Proficiency in managing cross-functional content projects in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and content performance metrics to measure impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in technology, SaaS, or research-driven industries.
- Prior editorial experience is highly preferred
- Background in video production and visual storytelling.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and amplification tactics.
