As a Consumer Marketing Manager in the Healthy Feeding Category (bottle warmers, sterilizers, etc) for Philips Avent, you will be globally responsible for the category strategy & innovation portfolio.
The role will involve collaborating with cross functional teams, executing commercial innovation projects leveraging ODM/OEM supplier collaborations, supporting the launch of innovation projects, taking on end-to-end responsibility for product delivery through close collaboration with project teams and markets.
Furthermore, the position will require analytical capabilities to conduct business, portfolio, and market analysis to drive data-driven actions. Previous innovation experience leveraging supplier derivatives while keeping consumers at the center, being social media savvy to fast follow on trend is a must have.
In summary, the Consumer Marketing Manager will play a critical role in leading the category, managing projects, driving commercial innovation, and conducting data-driven analysis to support business decisions and product improvements. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to operate E2E, effective project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Your role
Lead & execute commercial innovation projects (life cycle management) and innovation product development process from start to end, leveraging supplier derivatives to drive tactical innovation in the category, including creating and maintaining a business case, market readiness, and ensuring the completion of appropriate deliverables.
Take on end-to-end responsibility for category P&L and product delivery for on-time launch, interacting on a regular basis with our marketing teams in key markets to ensure solid business growth and successful launch execution.
Collaborating with various disciplines, including Innovation & research and Life Cycle Management departments, internal and external design partners, manufacturing units, and Commercial Organizations in business to deliver on time with excellence.
Utilize data analysis and synthesis to provide actionable, impactful, and visually engaging recommendations that support data-driven decision-making to support managing product portfolio and ensure commercial success (sales, margin, market share, etc.).
Analyze and drive financial performance & KPI of your products/portfolio globally
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify consumer needs, develop innovative marketing assets, and execute marketing campaigns flawlessly.
Continuously monitoring the parenting forums and competitive moves as well as macro and micro trends to always bring outside-in.
Leads the adoption and adaptation of the global roadmap into locally relevant strategies, ensuring alignment with local consumer insights, market trends, competitive landscape, and local media/channel choices.
Develops pricing strategies in collaboration with regional and finance teams to ensure they align with market conditions and business objectives, ensuring financial viability while meeting consumer needs.
You're the right fit if
5-6 years of consumer marketing, product market introductions or marketing communications experience in an international business environment
Passion for the consumer and self-driven & entrepreneurial personality (ownership)
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing innovations, particularly working with ODM model
Exceptional conceptual thinking, organizational, and communication skills that enable you to influence and inspire others, up to the director level
Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives and effectively manage multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
Proficiency in developing realistic and comprehensive Business Cases
A data-driven and consumer-focused approach that enables you to identify new opportunities and turn them into compelling propositions
Fluent in English (written & verbal);
Naturally inquisitive with a proactive mindset, dedicated to continuous improvement
A can-do attitude, result-oriented mindset, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant area such as business/marketing or economic
