If you're looking for a unique and exciting opportunity in the marketing research and consulting space, then look no further! We are looking for a confident and passionate Client Manager to work on a portfolio of clients within the FMCG sector in east Africa!
This role requires an individual committed to delivering excellent standards in both insight and client service, helping us to expand our network and deliver impact with clients.
You will have the chance to collaborate with leading brands and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients in East Africa, delivering impactful projects, and driving revenue growth. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to motivate and coach your team to achieve exceptional results.
Role Overview
- Build and maintain client relations and act as trusted partner for clients- be the main contact and lead on FMCG client/s
- Deliver work in time and of quality standards set by Kantar Worldpanel and the client.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with disparate sets of quantitative data and ability to draw accurate causal linkages.
- Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of the FMCG sector and make relevant recommendations to the client.
- Demonstrates a sound knowledge of consumer behaviour, the FMCG sector, market trends in East Africa and make relevant recommendations to clients
- Proven ability to create and expand network of contacts within the FMCG manufacturing sector business in east Africa
- Support clients in driving business growth and achieving positive outcomes through the effective utilization of consumer panel data.
- Manage your workload, establish priorities, and proactively find solutions to meet client demands.
- Deliver presentations that meet client objectives, highlighting relevant patterns and implications, and offering actionable recommendations based on shopper data and insights.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue by widening your network, identifying client issues, and co-creating innovative solutions with our data.
Role Requirements & Capabilities
- Postgraduate with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in market / consumer research, marketing and insight’s function preferably in the FMCG Industry
- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills, with the ability to confidently articulate insightful and impactful presentations.
- Curious nature, possessing strong analytical skills and a true enthusiasm for understanding consumer behavior.
- Experience in successfully delivering consulting projects based on business analysis, offering valuable insights to clients, and effectively communicating complex data.
- Optimistic attitude, willing to get involved and contribute to the team's goals and objectives.
- Highly collaborative and adaptable, able to work effectively in diverse cultural and technical environments.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with partners across all levels of the organization and facilitate constructive discussions.
- Lead a team of researchers to service clients.
