As a Connection Planner at dentsu, you don’t just build media plans; you craft connection strategies that move people and grow brands. You're the voice of the audience in the room, translating insights into smart, channel-agnostic strategies that bring campaigns to life with impact and relevance.

Working across media, creative, and digital teams, you'll connect the dots between business challenges, consumer behavior, and the ever-evolving media landscape to deliver work that resonates; strategically, emotionally, and measurably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate audience insights into compelling, multi-channel media strategies that drive business results

  • Develop integrated comms strategies across traditional, digital, social, and emerging channels

  • Partner with client leads, creative strategists, and media specialists to align messaging, media, and moments

  • Use data, tools, and research to build clear audience narratives and map out effective customer journeys

  • Stay plugged into trends in culture, tech, and media to spark innovation and relevance in planning

  • Present strategies with clarity and passion—both to clients and internal teams

A bit about you

  • At least 3 years of experience in strategic media or communications planning

  • A sharp thinker who balances creativity and data with ease

  • Solid knowledge of digital and traditional media landscapes in Indonesia

  • Experience using planning tools (e.g., TGI, GlobalWebIndex, SimilarWeb, etc.) and research methodologies

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills—you bring people along with your thinking

  • A team player who’s curious, collaborative, and always pushing for better
