You will be a part of the Connect PPG PMO Department in our biggest transformation project ever in the implementation of a global S/4 HANA platform system for PPG Industries. You will play a crucial role in the delivery of our Transformation Program. You will manage elements of the program that will entail working with a cross-functional team, setting, and monitoring timelines, identifying and minimizing risks, communicating and presenting progress reports and driving on-time, in full delivery of our Transformation. You will have contact within key functional areas of our program including People Readiness, Business Process, Deployment, Infrastructure, and business support teams. You will report to Connect PPG, Senior Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
Serve as an important connection to the Project Management Office (PMO) leader.
Help determine and define project scope and objectives, as well as assembling and presenting status reports.
Help outline best practices for how project milestones are set and how project health is communicated.
Predict resources needed to reach goals and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
PM role to coordinate with all key stakeholders of external/satellite tools for activities related to Phase 2 and 3
PM role to coordinate all data activities for Phase 2·
PM role to coordinate all infrastructure readiness activities (buying of any equipment required or wi-fi upgrade etc.) between program team, business stakeholders and IT infrastructure team.
You will maintain holistic visibility on status of development activities and set-up for testing events and go-live.·
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
Assist the Procurement Department in Master Service Agreements and Statement of Work information.
Help implement and mature capacity planning.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in project management, or a similar field.
Minimum of 15 years' experience as a project manager, or a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices
Experience using popular project management tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, HP ALM, Microsoft Project.
PMP certification and ERP implementation experience is preferred.
Experience completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Experience delivering complex and global scale projects in an international and multicultural environment.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin
