The primary responsibility of the Config Ops Specialist is to review configuration requests from Sales Operations, and process in a timely manner. This includes ensuring all the correct hardware and software selections are picked, ensuring any jurisdiction requirements are selected, and performing a Self-Quality check to confirm all selections are accurate.
The Config Ops Specialist will interface with the Config Ops Supervisor, and their respective leads to understand their queue and prioritization.
What You'll Do

Manage time effectively throughout the day to ensure all orders required to be configured are completed by end of day

Constantly monitoring their assigned queue, and maintain an 6-calendar day or less duration withing their queue

Work with Sales Ops and the Sales team to answer any questions or concerns that they have based upon the information provided

Work with Marketing and ERP to ensure the correct selections are being made for all Hardware and Software selections

Perform root cause analysis for any quality errors that arise, internal or external

Coordinate any expedite requests from Sales Ops and the Master Scheduler, and prioritize accordingly

Respond to customer orders status requests from Sales, and Production Scheduling

Respond to requests from Production and Quality as it pertains to the configuration

Promote and develop positive communication with sales to improve OT delivery to the customer

Daily meetings with the Config Ops leadership to address any issues as it pertains to the schedule and material availability

Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in using order management systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and analytical tools to analyse data, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions. Experience with SalesForce, D365 preferred.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to order management, compliance, and risk management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel and Access

Excellent English language skills
