Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
Works with the compliance team in Sweden to plan, organise and lead for compliance activities across operations including quality, ISO standards, environmental, health and safety and regulatory requirements for data centers to operate.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for supporting the operations of three data centers in Stockholm by reviewing local and EU legislation and regulation, identifying actions required to be taken by operations to ensure compliance and supporting operations in delivery of said actions. You will be part of a small local compliance team while engaging with EMEA wide compliance leads to learn off other countries and ensure standards are kept.
Standards & Regulatory Requirements

Plans the standards and regulatory compliance schedule (i.e. schedule for audit checks, verification assessments, maintaining certificates)

Develops industry knowledge of standards
Management Systems

Identifies non-compliance by conducting predetermined audits to verify adherence to standards
Reporting

Creates reports in conjunction with more senior team members and begins to look for basic gaps in findings
Training
-
Develops and implements training materials and trains internal team members others on standards, regulatory and reporting requirements (e.g., SSAE16). May also train existing team members, as well as contractors (i.e. outsourced security guards)
Data Center & Cross-Functional Support

Main resource for more junior teammates and fields more complex requests requiring more judgment and program knowledge

Seeks guidance from manager and senior teammates on high-risk issues

May identify potential risks for non-compliance

Communicates risks in a timely manner to manager and to the external groups

Works with manager & senior teammates to formulate appropriate risk response

Can lead the compliance portion of cross-functional projects
Skills / Capabilities

Strong analytical approach

Attention to detail and strong ability to develop reports, presentations and analysis

Comfortable leading audits and identifying gaps in compliance with operational teams

Experience with programs and project schedules
Qualifications
-
Industrial or commercial experience (i.e. having worked in data centers or commercial/industrial arena) within Sweden and familiarity with some health and safety requirements for operations.

Experience in compliance and legislation/regulatory frameworks beneficial

Knowledge of Swedish EHS, environmental permit processes and requirements strongly beneficial
Other

Must be able to travel across Stockholm to multiple sites
