Brown & Brown is seeking a Property Casualty Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Markham, Ontario, Canada!
The Property Casualty Marketing Assistant is responsible for managing marketing administration and compliance, preparing client proposals and materials, maintaining accurate records, and fostering strong relationships with teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure efficient operations and client retention.
How You Will Contribute:
- Responsible for the administration of marketing policies in accordance with company and state regulations and timeframes.
- Prepare proposals for new and existing clients, including ordering updated loss information, obtaining updated information, documenting renewal applications, preparing proposals, obtaining quotes and preparing marketing materials and binders.
- Record marketing activity in agency management system in accordance with company practices.
- Record renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance documents into the agency management database.
- Communicate marketing status with service and sales team.
- Build courteous and successful relationships with team, vendors and carriers to improve client retention.
- Follow agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude in the department and office.
- Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology including professional development and continuing education required for valid licensing.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- RIBO in good standing
- High School Diploma.
- 3+ years’ experience in the insurance industry.
- Proficient knowledge in EPIC and Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.
- Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
