About the RoleAre you ready to lead one of the most strategic growth pillars at Signify? As Global Commercial Leader Marketplaces, you’ll define and execute the global marketplace strategy for our consumer brands.

You’ll be part of one of the fastest-growing business engines within Signify, operating with C-level exposure and shaping a scalable, profitable marketplace ecosystem worldwide. the role sits within the Central E-commerce team in the Netherlands (Eindhoven) and reports directly to the Head of D2C & Marketplaces.
More about the roleDefine and lead the global marketplace strategy: Set the vision and execute the roadmap to build a scalable, profitable marketplace ecosystem for our consumer brands Hue, WiZ, and Philips LED.
Full P&L ownership: Own global sales, margin, and logistics performance. Define and implement 3P business models (FBM/FBA/SFP) to drive growth and profitability.
Build the organization: Create a scalable operating model and position marketplaces as a core channel within Signify Consumer.
Lead the Global Marketplaces Team: Manage a team of experts and collaborate closely with regional leads (EU, NAM, Asia) to deliver growth across all major markets.
Run and grow the business: Your team is responsible for the daily management of marketplace sales, identifying incremental growth opportunities, and executing best-in-class campaigns and promotions with the right inventory.
Collaborate on hybrid marketplaces: Work closely with internal teams on hybrid platforms such as Amazon (1P + 3P) to define the best approach for growth and ensure seamless execution.
International expansion & compliance: Lead global marketplace expansion while ensuring full compliance with tax, customs, and regulations.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Markets and departments like IT, Logistics, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to streamline processes and implement strategies effectively.

10+ years of experience in E-Commerce, with proven success in building and scaling marketplace business models.
Deep knowledge of 3P business models (FBM/FBA/SFP) and marketplace operations.
Expertise in hybrid marketplaces: ability to view and operate 1P + 3P as one integrated business model.
High-level knowledge of the Amazon platform as one of the most critical hybrid marketplaces.
Expertise in Social Commerce and AI-driven selling.
Strong commercial and analytical skills: P&L, pricing, profitability.
International experience: EU, NAM, Asia, including regulatory nuances and cultural differences.
People leadership: experience leading global teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Soft skills: High energy, stakeholder management, adaptability, and strategic thinking.
