Job Description
We are looking for a candidate with strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency to be part of our Local Markets sales force in JPM Chase Bank Berhad.
As an Analyst in Corporate Sales, you will be responsible with the day-to-day execution of multi-products mainly in Foreign Exchange and Rates. You will transact in these products across a broad range of corporate clients in the Multinational, Commercial Banking and Local Corporate space. You will work with our partners in trading, structuring and bankers to provide comprehensive daily client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates, assisting with the execution of client orders and providing clients with market intelligence. You will be involved in capabilities and product pitching, client engagement and cross product engagements. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in Markets products and strong analytical skills in identifying business opportunities, providing market and hedging strategies to clients and perform minimum due diligence on client's business and transactions in compliance to Foreign Exchange Policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining of desk's client relationships, including day-to-day execution of FX, FXO and Rates (flow and structured) products.
- Booking of trades in the firm's risk systems and supporting on all pre and post execution sales processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding market drivers and identifying product opportunities while having a sound grasp the business, balance sheet, credit and financial risk management of corporate clients.
- Drive client revenue growth - working with senior sales team members on client account strategies to deepen existing client wallets as well as prospecting new clients.
- Working collaboratively with our business partners in trading, research, and banking to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform including providing clients with trade ideas and market intelligence.
- To conduct business by following JPM's business code of conduct.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- A University degree in Finance or related field from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a treasury dealing room handling corporate clients or relevant job scope
- PKMC / PPKM License holder.
- Good foundation in treasury products including Foreign Exchange Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards and interest rate derivatives;
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem solving and solutioning - critical thinker and driver of trade ideas and themes for clients
- Able to work in a high pressured environment and at the same time is detailed oriented with the tasks assigned to you
- Good relationship building ability including effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong team player that partners well within the immediate team and with key external stakeholders
- Understanding of BNM's FEA regulations and application to client's situations.
