We’re hiring for a Commercial Finance Business Partner as part of Amplifi Global, based in London.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to partner with the Amplifi Global and Integrated Growth Solutions (IGS) teams, to provide financial advice and guidance, in support of the achievement of revenue and margin targets and delivery of strategic goals within the Media Practice of Dentsu International.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Insight & Decision Support: Provide analysis and challenge through financial insights, enabling business partners to make informed decisions and achieve targets.
Budgeting & Forecasting Ownership: Lead budgeting and forecasting for designated profit centres, offering interpretation, guidance, and actionable insights.
Global Accounting & Reporting: Collaborate with Amplifi Global and local finance teams to ensure accurate P&L reporting, contractual deliverables, and compliance.
Revenue Forecasting & Pipeline Analysis: Own worldwide revenue forecasting for media investment and content, delivering insights to guide future investment decisions.
Investment Appraisal & Financial Modelling: Review and prepare business cases for media inventory and new initiatives, including risk assessment and financial modelling.
Profitability & Process Improvement: Identify initiatives to improve margins and implement best-practice financial processes, enhancing data quality and consistency.
Commercial & Specialist Support: Provide ongoing and ad-hoc support on commercial, financial, legal, tax, and audit issues; work with specialist teams to ensure fair financial frameworks and transfer pricing compliance.
New Business Growth & Projections: Support pitch teams with accurate income projections, ensuring assumptions align with contract negotiations to maximise value and compliance.
Qualifications + Skills
Professional Qualification: Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar) with post-qualification experience.
Financial Planning & Analysis Expertise: Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control; advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to create management reports in PowerPoint.
Stakeholder Management & Influence: Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across finance and non-finance teams; excellent verbal and written communication.
Analytical & Continuous Improvement Focus: Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver initiatives beyond day-to-day tasks.
Accuracy & Deadline Management: Superior attention to detail with strong self-review capability; highly organized and able to prioritise effectively under tight deadlines.
