Job DescriptionThe role of Commercial Analyst is really important to us. You will play a key role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and wider Telematics team with insightful analysis, reporting, and commercial decision support to help drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities day to day will be…
- Supporting the Finance Business Partner with analysis and reporting across Telematics revenue and cost streams.
- Ad hoc preparation of commercial performance dashboards, focusing on volume, unit margins, and growth margin components.
- Assisting in the monthly trading review pack preparation.
- Conducting variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers and trends.
- Assisting in pricing reviews, commercial modelling, and scenario planning.
- Supporting the annual Budget and reforecast process.
- Providing analytical support for business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support commercial decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimisation, and revenue growth.
- Supporting the development and enhancement of financial models and tools.
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems and processes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across commercial and financial processes.
What do we expect of you?
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial and commercial analysis.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a commercial, finance, or business analysis environment.
- Excellent Excel skills; experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is a bonus preferred.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business impact.
