Experience
- Must be local and able to work hybrid
- Cloud experience in Azure (required)
- Must have terraform experience
- Experience with AI tools
- 5 years of experience in a technical support position
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment
- Experience with scripting technologies such as Bash, Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, Bicep or Azure Command Line Interface
- Experience with server virtualization technologies and their support technologies (e.g., Azure Stack HCI, VMware, Hyper-V, VRealize, SRM)
- Experience in an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) services framework
Education
- Associate's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent technical training and work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in other cloud environments a plus
- Experience with ServiceNOW and Configuration Management Database CMDB is preferred
- Experience with Splunk and Azure Log analytics workspaces preferred
- Experience leading lunch and learns, workshops or other educational initiatives to spread knowledge and best practices related to cloud technologies
- Microsoft AZ-900 certification

- Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and maintain Infrastructure as code (IaC), PowerShell and Azure CLI scripts

Job Responsibilities
- Designs and administers cloud deployments, including configuration of servers, workstations, virtual hosts, terminal servers, access servers, and third-party applications.
- Researches and makes recommendations for new products based on current and projected goals.
- Verifies cloud deployments and datacenters are run in accordance with guidelines set by upper management.
- Develops standards and documentation of cloud deployments and configurations.
- Responds to trouble tickets and systems alerts based on defined service level agreements.
- Acts as subject matter expert for cloud operations and cloud planning.
- Monitors and remediates scheduled system maintenance jobs proactively.
- Maintains current operating system/security patches and upgrades systems.
- Builds/provisions virtual machine templates and provisioning scripts.
- Audits all infrastructure operations technology daily processes, addresses any gaps, and validates any remediation is successfully implemented.
- Follows industry best practices in designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure operations systems/technologies.
- Follows, performs, and completes required change request processes and documentation.
- Plans cloud deployments and maintain documentation, including deployment scripts and cloud knowledgebase articles.
- Provides integrated systems planning, recommends new or different technologies to enhance current systems.

- Participates in P1 leadership escalation management when requested.
