The DevOps Engineer works with project managers, SMEs, and solution architects to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure and delivery pipelines for Cyber Threat Group 6, with a primary focus on automation, scalability, reliability and developer enablement. The main scope of work is for cloud-based systems that are used by Cyber Threat Group 6 on a daily basis.
Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, SMEs, and solution architects to implement infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for Cyber Threat Group 6 systems/modules (both virtualized and physical infrastructure).
Partner with global R&D teams as shared owners of SaaS environments, focusing on automation, performance, security, and scalability.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments.
Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud and on-premises resources.
Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
Integrate security and compliance into the delivery pipeline (“shift-left security”).
Develop tooling and automation to improve developer productivity and reduce manual work.
Support application teams with containerization, orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native deployment best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization projects.
Desired Experience and Skills
-At least two years of hands-on experience in
- Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Translating customer requirements into automated infrastructure and deployment solutions.
-Has at least one-year hands-on experience managing and deploying on AWS or Azure.
-Technical skills in solutions integration and tooling development.
-One or more programming/scripting skills:
- Python (preferred), Bash, or PowerShell.
- API integrations and automation.
- Java or other application development experience is a plus.
-Experience with Git-based workflows (branching, PRs, CI integrations).
-Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
-Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
