Job Description:
In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Developer with expertise in Backend Development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a secure development environment. Proficiency in “C#(.NET), Python” and backend coding/design is a must.
The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work, an excellent educational background, and a strong professional history with reputable employers.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Develop, design, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code in “C# (.NET) (preferred), Python”.
- Collaborate on architectural design decisions to ensure a robust and future-proof codebase.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex backend issues in real-time.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps and backend processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Implement Agile practices to ensure continuous delivery and incremental progress.
- Promote and apply the left-shift strategy by identifying and addressing potential issues early in the development process.
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
Secure Development
- Follow best practices for secure coding and secure DevOps practices.
- Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities during development and deployment phases.
What you need to bring:
- 6+ years of professional experience in a mix of DevOps and backend roles.
- Strong expertise in Debugging and resolving issues during secure development.
- Proficient in C#(.NET), Python with a strong focus on backend development (design, implementation, debugging).
- Experience in Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with backend design patterns and system architecture.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration is an added advantage.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with a strong academic record.
