Are you an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a passion for designing and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures? We are seeking a talented AWS GovCloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Norcross, GA. This role requires expertise in AWS GovCloud (US) and a strong background in microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS using microservices principles.
- AWS GovCloud Expertise: Deploy and manage applications within AWS GovCloud (US), ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating microservices deployments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to design cost-effective AWS infrastructure, utilizing services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, Clickhouse, Timeseries, and more.
- Java-based Microservices: Lead the design and development of Java-based microservices, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure the security of AWS environments by implementing IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize microservices applications using AWS services such as Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and caching strategies.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray) to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications:
- AWS GovCloud Expertise: 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud, specifically AWS GovCloud (US).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, Clickhouse, and Timeseries.
- Data Streaming & IoT: Experience in transferring streaming payloads from edge devices to IoT Core, and from IoT Core to Kafka. Proficiency in data ingestion using MQTT broker, AWS Glue (ETL), and Influx DB.
- Machine Learning: Familiarity with Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Kinesis for data analysis, and machine learning applications.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with visualization tools like ReactWeb.
- On-site Commitment: Must be able to relocate or commute daily to Norcross, GA.
- Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
