Kantar’s Worldpanel division is searching for a passionate and collaborative Client Executive to join our local Client Service teams. Based in Lisbon, Portugal this is truly an incredible opportunity to be part of our exciting vision for the future!

The Team and Role’s mission

Reporting to one of our Client Directors, as a Client Executive you will play a pivotal role acting as a key point of contact for some of our biggest clients in the Retail sector, understanding their unique goals and challenges. Your insights into consumer behavior and shopping patterns will guide clients in making informed decisions on product launches, marketing strategies, and other key business initiatives.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Kantar, translating complex data into compelling narratives that resonate with stakeholders at all levels, managing data requests and project briefs in order to monitor market trends and developments, keeping your insights current and relevant to our clients’ business needs.

Your proactive approach will be crucial not just to retain and grow our clients’ relationships through ensuring their remain competitive and well-informed in a rapidly ever-evolving market, but to also identify potential additional revenue opportunities for our teams when recommending additional and more appropriate solutions to unforeseen challenges in their businesses.

Key outcomes

  • Collaborate with the Client Director to define the scope of projects, proposals and strategies to achieve the annual proposed revenue target, by creating a detailed working plan which identifies and sequences any activities needed to successfully complete them.
  • Analyze and interpret sets of shopper and consumer data using Kantar Worldpanel’s proprietary tools and methodologies.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored insights that address their specific challenges.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into broader business strategies.

Key Capabilities

Your background will ideally look like this…

  • University Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) in Marketing, Statistics, Sociology, Economics, Management, or equivalent.
  • Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in market research or client management roles – ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience with MS Excel (Pivot Tables; VLOOKUP; Advanced functions) and MS PowerPoint.

  • Possesses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to connect with partners at all levels across the organization comfortably and facilitates discussions in a constructive manner.

The following, although not mandatory, will be appreciated…

  • Business proficiency in Spanish (B1-2 minimum)
  • Previous experience in analyzing shopper behavior trends preferably with major retail clients.
