We are seeking a talented individual to join our CCA claims team at Marsh. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.  This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Claims Team Leader

We will count on you to:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and liaise with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the Claims team meets KPIs.

• Triage notifications from the client’s Risk and Security Managers, allocating matters promptly to team members.

• Manage team workload, priorities, and performance, ensuring compliance with client requirements and service agreements.

• Monitor claims performance, develop claim strategies for escalated or complex claims, and provide technical guidance on claim investigation and resolution.

• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, insurers, stakeholders, and third parties, and prepare reports and trend analysis consistent with service agreements.

What you need to have:

• Proven expertise managing Liability & Property claims within an insurer, law firm, in-house claims team, or third-party administrator.

• Strong technical knowledge of claims principles and relevant legislation including the General Insurance Code of Practice, Insurance Contracts Act, and Privacy Act.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Superior relationship management skills and problem-solving ability.

• People leadership experience is advantageous.
