In this Account Manager role, you will be responsible for driving Agilent Technologies’ Liquid/Gas Chromatography (HPLC and GC), Mass Spectrometry, and UV-Vis equipment, as well as Informatics solutions into Life Sciences and Applied Markets accounts. You will work both independently and in a team of Product Specialists, Application Engineers, and Inside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets in the specified geography. You will be expected to create and develop opportunities, as well as develop successful strategies and tactics to grow our market share in a competitive marketplace.
Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Account Manager Position Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle for Agilent HPLC, GC, Molecular, and MS equipment, and Informatics solutions
- Develop customer relationships
- Prospect for new opportunities
- Follow up on leads promptly
- Successfully negotiate complex sales transactions
- Create and deliver presentations that educate, increase awareness and interest, ultimately leading to new Agilent customers
- Manage a complex set of demands and relationships to maximize customer satisfaction while exceeding sales goals
- Provide market and product feedback to management
- Use CRM and other tools as required to drive business
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, BioChemistry, or related field
- 2+ years of strategic selling skills in a related industry sales experience
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of chromatography applications and workflows
- Solid presentation skills
- Must be able to travel up to 35%
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. It is sales incentive eligible.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $112,318.00 - $187,196.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
