Chief of Staff

SMS-Magic is a trusted messaging leader for businesses around

mid size businesses to large global enterprises. We’re looking for a Chief of Staff for our
CEO’s office, to work closely with our Executive teamWe’re looking for a Chief of Staff for our

As our Chief of Staff, you will be a strategic thinker & operational doer, working closely with
our Executive team, overseeing critical organizational priorities in an effort to improve
efficiency, and working as a liaising partner across all functional departments.

Your key responsibilities will include working directly with the Executive team to establish the
organization’s long-term objectives and day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with
senior leadership to develop & deliver long-term company strategy. You will manage the
meeting cadence for the board of directors and leadership team, provide insights via
dashboards and analysis to assist in strategic initiatives & projects. You are expected to
track progress, which includes meeting preparation to execution and follow through with
actionable thereof. Oversee cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives. You will
be in charge of running & reporting on Financial processes & budgeting, and hiring of key
personnel. You will review internal and external communications, and monitor information
flow.
We expect you to be an excellent communicator and collaborator with great relationship-
building skills & ability to influence all levels of the organization. You will be researching,
benchmarking, analyzing data, and making recommendations that are driven by technology
& data. You are expected to have exceptional analytical skills and be a problem-solver. You
would be working closely with the leadership team to create systems and processes which
streamline operations. Great people skills and a go-getter attitude with the willingness to go
the extra mile to get the job done will be add-ons.
Your competencies will include the following:

Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
Good understanding of Software/SaaS businesses
Master of Budgeting and Financial Reviews

Data Analysis

Program Management

SaaS Metrics & Unit economics
P&L Analytics

Budgets and Planning cycles, as well as special projects such as new business models,
hiring plans, restructurings or business reviews. Think through, set policies and make sure
they are implemented. Effective Delivery of time, information, and decision processes
Meetings/reviews Cadence - Sales Review, Marketing Performance, Engineering and
Development - Roadmap Completion, etc and publish observations
Anticipate problems that are sensitive/requiring Diplomacy

Degree in Engineering or MBA or a related field
Relevant experience of 4+ years, overall experience upto 8 years
Must have extensive experience working with CEO’s/Leaders in mid/large startups
