Job Title: Financial Performance Lead (FPL) CHC Romania & Moldova
Location: Romania & Moldova (within the CEE Zone)
Job Overview:
The Financial Performance Lead (FPL) for CHC Romania & Moldova is responsible for providing comprehensive financial support to the local Consumer Health Care (CHC) Business Unit. The role focuses on monitoring and controlling the short- and mid-term financial performance of the business, collaborating with finance teams in the CEE Zone and Europe, and ensuring that financial operations are streamlined and efficient. This role also plays a key part in strategic financial evaluations and supports the budget, forecast, and financial management of the CHC P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Performance Monitoring & Control:
- Monitor and control the short- and mid-term financial performance of the CHC Romania & Moldova business in close collaboration with the CEE Zone and European Finance teams.
- Ensure that all financial processes align with business objectives and strategies.
Operational Finance Performance:
- Oversee the operational finance performance, coordinating with the Finance Operations (SBS) & Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
- Support the Finance Operations teams during the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by facilitating transparent information exchanges.
Strategic Planning & Business Support:
- Contribute to the development and execution of business strategies by providing financial evaluations and insights.
- Serve as the process owner for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Financial Management of the CHC P&L:
- Manage and take ownership of the financial performance of the CHC Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring that targets are met and financial performance is optimized.
Investment & Resource Allocation:
- Co-pilot business investments and resource allocation by analyzing KPIs, conducting operational analysis, and providing strategic guidance on prioritization and allocation.
Reporting Streamlining & Tool Improvement:
- Drive efficiency and simplification in reporting processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing tools and systems used in financial reporting.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders, including MCOs and cross-functional teams, contributing to BU transversal projects as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering.
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a commercial controlling or finance business partner role, preferably within Pharma or FMCG sectors.
- Experience working in a multinational or international environment is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced skills are essential).
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.

The ideal candidate for the Financial Performance Lead position will be a proactive and analytical finance professional with a solid background in commercial controlling or finance business partnership roles. They will have experience in the Consumer Health Care sector (or a related industry like Pharma/FMCG) and be comfortable working in an international environment. This individual should possess strong financial acumen, be highly skilled in Excel and reporting tools, and have the ability to navigate complex financial challenges while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
