Case Manager serves as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and customers, ensuring seamless case progression from initiation through final placement. The Case Manager is responsible for driving case resolution with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. This includes vendor ordering for requested requirements, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the case lifecycle.
Your role and impact
Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities and the meaningful impact you'll create as the Case Manager:
- Conducting regular case, queue, and report reviews to proactively ensure all case related activities are handled in accordance with our service level agreements and with accuracy. This may include, but not limited to the ordering of requirements on our vendor websites, written and/or verbal communication to the customer regarding new requirements or those not in good order, issuing policies based on underwriter and /or customer instructions, and applying funds to cases to place in-force.
- Review outstanding state/federal requirements such as Replacement forms, HIV forms, 1035 Exchanges, etc. to ensure we are compliant with all regulations
- Heightened role as customer service representative -- assisting our agent field partners with case updates, business questions, and troubleshooting
- Serve as the primary customer contact that is responsible for the overall satisfaction and management of each assigned case
- Communicate via email, in person, and phone with vendors, call centers, customers, underwriters, and various departments within the company in a professional, competent, and efficient manner
- Problem solving skills in relation to obtaining Attending Physician Statements (APS), addressing customer concerns and/or complaints and other issues pertaining to assigned case load
- Investigate and effectively resolve customer concerns and complaints, per business practices, and state and federal regulations, by owning the situation and seeking guidance, as appropriate.

What sets you up for success
- High School graduate or equivalent;
- LOMA ACS certificate a plus; will need to be obtained within first year
- Customer service experience
- Life insurance experience a plus
