As Business Unit Manager for Orthopaedics, you will drive commercial execution, develop high-performing sales leaders, and help shape the long-term growth strategy of the franchise. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity with direct impact on business performance, customer relationships, and team development across the country.
- Lead the Orthopaedics business in Mexico, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and execution of the commercial strategy.
- Manage and develop a sales leadership structure composed of Sales Managers and field sales teams, ensuring achievement of financial and operational targets.
- Coach and develop sales leaders through structured performance management, field engagement, and talent development initiatives.
- Partner with Marketing teams to define and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen market positioning and customer engagement.
- Drive both direct and indirect sales channel performance, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and customer needs.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities for the commercial organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, hospital stakeholders, and opinion leaders within the healthcare market.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and business performance metrics to support strategic decision-making and forecasting.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in medical device sales or healthcare commercial leadership roles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading sales teams through managers or supervisors.
- Experience managing direct and indirect sales channels.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred:
- Experience in Orthopaedics or orthopedic implant businesses.
- Experience collaborating closely with Marketing teams on commercial strategy and portfolio growth.
- MBA or advanced business degree.
