🚨 We're Hiring: Business Support Associate
📍 Location: Hyderabad India – Hybrid
🕒 Full-Time | Permanent Position
As a member of Financial Planning and Analysis group the candidate will support the corporate team for the area of responsibility. The role will be based in our office in Hyderabad, India. The primary objectives of this position include providing support for financial decision making, preparing monthly reporting/analysis of financial results, explaining variances to plan and trend, and own the annual plan and monthly forecasting output for the global G&A Functions. The incumbent will research drivers of variances to the financial goals of the team and update the forecast with corrective action plans to achieve the plan targets. The individual in the role will also be responsible for G&A expense reporting and forecast for the region/team of support. This role requires strong analytical and judgment skills, operational-driven mindset in addition to experience working with large sets of data. Drive continuous process improvements to drive efficiencies in the existing reporting and share and implement best practices from other engagements. Support performance measurement and productivity enhancement initiatives within the team and in the business.
Work with the Manager FP&A on defining & measuring the team objectives and structured learning path. Build and direct a team of robust individuals who can handle the BU as well as Transformation initiatives
Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions of the Job
Support the monthly close activities that includes tracking the G&A expenses and providing relevant supporting documents to the functional leads along with the variance analysis
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by engaging with regional G&A functions and challenging assumptions and inputting updates into the financial planning system
Coordinate with accounting team on monthly basis for the reclass adjustments and to understand the substantial impact of the accounting entries
Prepare the Monthly Operating Report materials for presentation
Ability to build and maintain good stakeholder relationship for the seamless monthly closure activities
Good analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to handle the adhoc requests.
Qualifications (minimally required education, work experience, knowledge and licensure/certifications)
Education: MBA (Finance) / Qualified CMA/CA or currently studying towards relevant qualification
Experience: At least 2-4 years of financial reporting and analysis
Proven analytical skills and business partnering exposure
Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
Familiarity with Financial systems such as SAP, OneStream, and/or Hyperion is a plus
Strong Initiative skills to effectively work remotely and autonomously
