Job DescriptionBusiness Developers, Settlement & Custody for Chicago, IL location. Work alongside IT Developers and a Product Owner to develop, run and maintain systems & processes and execute projects within the Settlement & Custody domain. Focus on improving systems and tooling. Translate product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions that are consistent with developments in technology, digitalization, and regulations. Ensure requirements and frameworks of internal and external stakeholders are met and promote improvements in solution performance, quality, and efficiency. Advise on how new systems will affect downstream processing and identify which IT or process changes would be needed. Tools: CTC Gresham; MICS or other clearing bookkeeping system; Broadridge systems (SFCM and Shark); Financial Data vendors (like SIX, Refinitiv, Bloomberg); Business intelligence tools (such as Tableau); CA processing; Settlement processing; Payment processing; ETF processing; Fixed income processing; Derivative processing (options, futures); CCP communication/operations/Portals; CSD communication/operations/Portals; Exchange communication/operations/Portals; experience with different types of databases (Oracle and Postgres); SQL/SQL-Server.
Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field plus three years of experience in Clearing Industry required. Required skills: CTC Gresham; MICS or other clearing bookkeeping system; Broadridge systems (SFCM and Shark); Financial Data vendors (like SIX, Refinitiv, Bloomberg); Business intelligence tools (such as Tableau); CA processing; Settlement processing; Payment processing; ETF processing; Fixed income processing; Derivative processing (options, futures); CCP communication/operations/Portals; CSD communication/operations/Portals; Exchange communication/operations/Portals; experience with different types of databases (Oracle and Postgres); SQL/SQL-Server. Some telecommuting permitted. $126,755-160,000/yr.
