We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Sports domain to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sports operations, data analytics, fan engagement platforms, and digital transformation within the sports ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to gather and define detailed business requirements.
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and innovation within sports operations or digital platforms.
Create functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, and workflow diagrams.
Work closely with UI/UX, development, and QA teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
Perform data analysis and reporting on player performance, fan engagement, ticketing, or broadcast metrics (as applicable).
Support product roadmap planning, prioritization, and sprint activities.
Conduct stakeholder workshops, sprint reviews, and demos to validate outcomes.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and sports regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with emerging trends in sports analytics, AI in sports, and digital fan experience platforms.
3–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the sports, media, or entertainment domain.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
Familiarity with sports data platforms, CRMs, ticketing systems, or athlete performance analytics tools.
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Power BI, or Tableau.
Understanding of APIs, integrations, and digital platforms is a plus.
Exposure to sports analytics, IoT-based sports tracking systems, or fan engagement apps.
Experience working with sports federations, clubs, leagues, or broadcasters.
Certification in CBAP / Agile BA / Product Owner roles.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
