As an Business Analyst II, in Business Access Oversight within Business banking, you will play a vital role in optimizing processes related to Access Management Oversight. As a subject matter expert, you will define access justifications, requirements, and limitations tailored to business needs, ensuring alignment with firm-wide policies and standards. Your primary focus will be on implementing initiatives to enhance risk mitigation and strengthen controls around access management. Additionally, you will support the Business Banking Data Risk Management Team and the broader Business Banking division to ensure compliance with firm-wide policies while mitigating risks associated with excessive access.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensure processes and procedures are followed to identify, monitor, and mitigate risks for employee access
- Partner with Technology, and Business to resolve identified access issues in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain process documentation and ensure information is current and accurate
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on access to educate and ensure alignment with business functions
- Maintain ownership, escalation, and resolution of issues from start to finish.
- Work with key partners to identify Access Entitlements and ensure they are well-documented regarding their meaning, purpose, and limitations
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Strong skills in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with employee access, ensuring compliance with firm-wide policies and standards
- Outstanding organizational skills, the ability to articulate complex issues, while successfully managing multiple priorities and meeting short deadlines.
- Ability to execute processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Identity and Access Management.
- Positive attitude, with the ability to build and foster relationships with internal partners and team members across multiple lines of business and/or organizations.
- Expert verbal and written communications skills; ability to listen effectively and credibly present ideas; and good interpersonal skills that allow the individual to effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Regularly reviewing and validating user access rights to ensure they are appropriate for their current role.
- Flexible with proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Systems, or equivalent work/training experience
- Subject matter expert experience and knowledge with Access Management Group
- Ability to craft and deliver persuasive narratives that resonate with senior leaders, using data and insights to support recommendations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including: SharePoint, Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint
