Summary Generated by Built In

Mimecast is at an inflection point. We’re building the brand infrastructure to position ourselves as the company that protects the work organizations depend on: the humans who produce it, the AI agents that accelerate it, and the data that carries it. This is a category-defining moment, and we need someone who can execute at that level.

The Brand Strategist, Manager will own the execution engine behind our brand awareness programs: translating strategy into campaigns, managing the agency and vendor ecosystem, activating across events and digital channels, and ensuring every dollar of spend reinforces a single, clear story. You will report into the brand function and work alongside product marketing, demand generation, and external partners. This is a builder’s role, measured on execution quality, timeline, and brand consistency.

What You'll Do:

  • Own end-to-end campaign execution across paid digital, display, CTV, influencer, sponsorship, and industry event channels

  • Manage agency and vendor relationships including creative, media, community, and public affairs partners, with clear briefs, timelines, and accountability

  • Steward the brand budget across workstreams, tracking actuals against plan and flagging variances before they become problems

  • Brief and quality-control all external deliverables against brand voice and positioning, ensuring consistency across every channel and format

  • Build and maintain a campaign calendar that sequences tactics across channels and sustains market presence through key industry moments

  • Plan and execute Mimecast’s presence at major security industry events, from booth strategy to surrounding digital and content activation

  • Define measurement frameworks for each campaign, track performance against brand lift, share of voice, and engagement goals, and report results clearly to stakeholders

  • Source and vet security influencers and practitioners for partnership programs, with clear evaluation criteria and ongoing relationship management

  • Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to bring integrated campaigns to market on time and on brief

  • Manage internal brand enablement by partnering with cross-functional teams to activate the brand internally, ensuring employees understand, adopt, and consistently express the brand across their work

What You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience brand, campaign, or integrated marketing roles

  • Hands-on agency and vendor management

  • B2B or enterprise software background preferred

  • Proven campaign execution from brief to live

  • Budget ownership and financial tracking

  • Detail orientation without losing the strategic thread

  • Strong creative judgment and brand sensibility

  • Project management across multiple simultaneous workstreams

  • Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders

  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

Nice To Have:

  • Fluency in AI-assisted campaign workflows: copy generation, audience modeling, creative testing, or performance analysis

  • Experience with CTV and streaming video campaign planning and execution

  • Cybersecurity or enterprise security marketing background, with familiarity with the CISO audience

  • Influencer program management in B2B or technical practitioner communities

  • Experience with Reddit or community-based marketing strategies

  • Programmatic and digital targeting across Fortune 1000 or account-based audiences

The base salary range for this position is $132,000−$198,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role.
