Bookkeeper

Paladin is transforming public safety with autonomous drones, aiming to be on the scene of emergencies within 90 seconds. When a 911 call is made, our drones fly in to provide first responders with real-time aerial views, enhancing situational awareness and speeding up response times. Leveraging LTE for unlimited control, we currently support over 1000 deployments weekly across various cities and states. Our vision is to integrate this technology as an essential tool for first responders worldwide within the next decade. As a Bookkeeper at Paladin Drones, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team in budgeting and reporting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance with accounting regulations.

• Record and categorize financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform month-end closing procedures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget tracking.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Work with external accountants and auditors as needed.
• Handle payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Support other administrative and finance-related tasks as required.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a technology or startup environment is a plus.
