The Associate Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding will work in collaboration with the Manulife Talent Acquisition team to proactively source and build talent pipelines for our Canadian Disability & Group Life teams to ensure that the company’s recruiting results in quality hires for our Disability organization.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with Disability leadership to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs.
In partnership with Talent Acquisition’s recruitment efforts, stay current on industry trends and actively participate in industry events. As part of this partnership, provide strategic input into Talent Acquisition’s sourcing plans to help attract top talent.
Drive the candidate selection process needed to select the most qualified candidate
Through behavioral based interviewing techniques, make final decisions and negotiate offers to ensure top quality new hire talent is selected for Canadian Disability & Group Life
Monitor offer trends and make clear, informed recommendations to COEs when requests fall outside established guidelines.
Ensure all staffing processes are fair and equitable and comply with all relevant government regulations and Manulife values.
Manage and/or participate in projects as needed.
Create proactive feedback loops from new employees, operational leaders, and data to continue to evolve our talent strategy and employee new hire experience.
Work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders through every step of the recruiting and onboarding process.
Required Qualifications:
Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
Proven experience in recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Sound organizational and decision-making skills.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
Advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to navigate an environment with multiple and shifting priorities with ease.
Knowledge of labor market and industry trends
Advanced knowledge of Canadian Disability & Group Life Case Management roles, drivers, and strategies

Salary range is expected to be between

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
