We are looking for an AWS Database Administrator to join a project at a company specializing in the management of financial markets. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years supporting mission-critical environments using AWS technologies.
Responsabilities
- Support AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL / Aurora MySQL / Redshift
- Installation & configuration
- Performance & tuning
- Query optimisation
- Workload management
- Support the database layer end-to-end across several services
- Participate in international projects
- Influence current and future technology choices
- Work in shift rotation (team covers 10h shift, 5 days a week) and on-call (~1 week/month)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as Database Administrator (AWS environments)
- Expert in: AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Aurora MySQL, Redshift
- Confirmed experience: performance tuning, query optimisation, workload management
- Advanced knowledge (nice to have): S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch
- Pragmatic approach
- English: Upper-intermediate (B2+) required
