You are a systems thinker who can balance the need for rigid consistency (in Navigation, Headers, and Admin tools) with the flexibility required by vertical product teams. You are a leader of leaders, capable of mentoring a team of Senior and Principal Product Managers. You know how to bridge the gap between Design aspirations and Engineering realities, championing modern frontend architectures (like React) and Design Systems to create a "Paved Road" that accelerates the entire organization.
What you'll do:You will own the strategic vision and execution for the foundational application layers of MyGeotab (Web) and Geotab Drive (Mobile). You will lead the portfolio that binds the Geotab ecosystem together, ensuring a seamless, high-quality, and performant experience for millions of users.
You will manage and align a team of product leaders responsible for the "front-of-house" functionality: Asset Management, Map Interfaces, Global Navigation, Rules Engines, and Onboarding. Your mandate is to ensure these shared components are intuitive, scalable, and best-in-class. You will partner closely with the AVP of Product Design to rationalize a complex roadmap, driving the transition from legacy interfaces to modern, responsive frameworks. You will also oversee the strategy for Mobile, ensuring experience continuity between the web platform and the driver app. Ultimately, you will be responsible for defining what "Quality" looks like in the Geotab user experience and establishing the SaaS metrics to measure it.
How you'll make an impact:Define the roadmap for the Core UX portfolio, prioritizing high-impact shared components (Menu, Dashboard, Maps) that serve the entire enterprise.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers (including Mobile and Core UX streams), fostering a culture of user-centricity and rapid iteration.
Establish and own the metrics for UX quality (e.g., Time-to-Task, System Usability Scores), ensuring the application layer meets the standards of a modern SaaS platform.
Oversee the product strategy for both the MyGeotab web platform and the Geotab Drive mobile app, ensuring a consistent level of quality, performance, and brand alignment across all user touchpoints.
Partner with Engineering Directors to drive the migration to modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and champion the adoption of the internal Design System.
Act as the "voice of the user" in executive forums, balancing the technical needs of the platform with the commercial requirements of vertical solutions (Safety, Sustainability).
10-12 years in product management, with a specific focus on SaaS applications and User Experience.
8+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing managers and leading complex product organizations.
Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Master's Degree in a related field or an MBA is highly valued.
Deep understanding of frontend product lifecycles. You must have experience managing products where the UI/UX is a core differentiator (e.g., Admin Portals, Dashboards, Map-based tools).
Strong familiarity with modern frontend technologies (React, React Native, Mobile frameworks) and Design System governance. Note: This is not a backend data infrastructure role.
Experience using data to drive behavioral change and product improvements (e.g., A/B testing, user journey analysis).
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
