Summary:
The Automotive Account Executive will work directly with franchise automotive dealers in Michigan, primarily the tri-county area, serving as an expert on our comprehensive portfolio of print and digital solutions. This role involves providing ongoing assessments and recommendations to enhance the dealer's print and digital performance. The Account Executive will develop key initiatives and leverage best practices to increase dealership traffic, retail sales, and market share.
What you will do:

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for all advertising needs to ensure client satisfaction

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets, conduct market research to identify potential clients and generate leads

Oversee the execution of print, direct mail & digital advertising campaigns including display, social media, email marketing, and other online marketing strategies; ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations

Understand client business goals and provide strategic advice on digital marketing solution, present and explain the benefits of our digital products to clients

Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with detailed reports and insights; use analytics to optimize campaign performance and recommend improvements

Work closely with internal teams, including creative, technical, and production, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns; coordinate with other departments to deliver integrated marketing solutions

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape and use this knowledge to educate clients and drive innovative solutions

Maintain sales activities and client interactions in pipeline

Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary

3+ years of experience in automotive media sales and account management

Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, display advertising, and email marketing

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to build and maintain client relationships

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft and Google Docs

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
*This is a remote role but you must reside in the state of Michigan.
