Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Associate in Alpharetta, GA.
Operate the production environment by monitoring availability and system health. Build software systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications. Improve reliability, quality, and performance of suite of software products. Measure and optimize system performance. Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications. Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures. Create software systems and services through automation and uplifts. Participate in software system design consulting, platform management and capacity planning.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $142800 and $150000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst, or Developer. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Shell scripting; Python; Perl; cloud driven development; DB2; Sybase; Oracle; Autoys; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; environment on demand for Virtual Machines and containers; Splunk; IP Soft; Sockeye; Agile Methodology; Jenkins; Train; Windeploy; networking concepts in Azure and AWS; and data structures.
