Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the legal department, assisting attorneys and legal assistants in research and resolution activities, and preparing routine documents, agreements, and pleadings related to litigation and non-litigation matters. This role will be providing responsible administrative and legal support to general counsel and staff attorneys; as well as interfacing with internal business partners and outside counsel on regulatory examinations and litigation to research and gather responsive materials.
NOTE: this role is hybrid/flex and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from home the other two days. Sponsorship is not available either now or in the future; relocation assistance will not be offered.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree OR Paralegal Certification and 2 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal OR 4 direct years’ of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal.
- Knowledge of judicial system, court procedures, corporate policies, procedures, and company operations.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
- Understanding of Medicare or healthcare insurance industry

Base Pay Range$48,600.00 - $107,300.00
