About the Role
This is a 12-month opportunity to join Razorpay Curlec’s marketing team as a Marketing Executive focused on driving on-ground events and activations. You will take ownership of end-to-end event planning and execution, ensuring each initiative strengthens Razorpay Curlec’s brand presence with SMEs, partners, and industry stakeholders.
The role reports to the Marketing Director, Southeast Asia. From trade shows and SME networking sessions to CXO panels and customer appreciation events, you will bring creativity, structure, and flawless execution. Working closely with the Marketing Director, Sales teams, and external vendors, you’ll ensure every event delivers impact and ROI. The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel across Southeast Asia to support regional events.
Role & Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
- Plan and manage end-to-end SME, partner, and trade events, from brief to execution.
- Support large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and industry partnerships, while independently running smaller networking and customer-focused sessions.
- Ensure all events are delivered on-brand, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.
- Bring creative ideas for activations that engage SMEs and reinforce Razorpay Curlec as Malaysia’s and Singapore’s preferred payment partner.
Logistics & Operations
- Oversee event logistics including venue selection, AV setup, catering, travel, supplier coordination, and event-day operations.
- Manage booth design and setup for exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Handle speaker coordination, panel preparation, and presentation support.
- Ensure compliance with brand, safety, and legal requirements at all times.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align event content with business needs.
- Manage vendors, agencies, and event partners with clear communication and deliverables.
- Represent the Marketing team professionally with external stakeholders, partners, and associations.
Innovation & Reporting
- Explore fresh, creative event formats to cut through and stand out with SMEs.
- Incorporate digital tools and event apps for registration, engagement, and measurement.
- Track event KPIs, prepare post-event reports, and recommend improvements.
Skills & Experience

- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in event management tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Creative eye for event branding and engagement activities.
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering professional, high-quality experiences.
- Open to frequent travel across Southeast Asia.

- Experience in managing marketing events
- Familiarity with local SME and startup ecosystem in Malaysia/Singapore.
- Exposure to digital event tools, registration platforms, and apps.
- Comfort with using AI productivity tools to streamline planning and reporting.
