Job Highlights:
Customer
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
- Work in partnership with Relationship Managers in the Branch to support the team in resolving any KYC issues, as well as preparation of customer documentation and ensuring that due dates and KYC reviews are completed in a timely manner. Work in partnership with Local and Regional Compliance team to understand the governance and framework for KYC in the Branch
- Work in partnership with the relationship managers in order to provide valuable support in managing the daily transactions of the Branch’s customers.
- Build effective relationships with customers to deliver a high quality of service by assisting them with needs and to maximise utilisation of the Bank’s products and services.
- Work with the operations department to ensure that all relevant information and checks have been obtained and support them in resolving any queries.
Other/ Control
- Support the onboarding and periodical KYC reviews for customers, by handling the relevant documentation and perform checks to ensure the smooth processing of transactions.
- Perform KYC QC in ensuring that KYC checks have been carried out and that there are no unresolved issues in order to mitigate risk to the Bank.
- Support the relationship managers by preparing initial documentation pertaining to new relationship.
- Manage the day to day business transactions including but not limited to booking of short-term loans, remittances, deposits and foreign exchange.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as directed by the Head of Department.
- Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.
- Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required
Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines
Key requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to deal effectively with customer enquiries and ensure a timely and accurate response.
- Good understanding of local financial regulations.
- Experience and/or knowledge in KYC/AML process
