Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Boca Raton, FL.

The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful execution of grant-funded initiatives by ensuring compliance with deliverables, timelines, and funding requirements. This role coordinates project activities, including content development, budgeting, travel logistics, and meetings, while maintaining clear and timely communication with stakeholders and the funding agency. Serving as a key liaison between the University and external partners, the Assistant Project Manager helps facilitate workshops, conferences, and reimbursement processes to ensure efficient project operations and alignment with grant objectives.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with grant deliverables and timelines.

  • Assist with the coordination of content related to grant requirements.

  • Assist with the development of the budget for the grant.

  • Assist with the organization of all travel, meeting requirements for the grant.

  • Participate and coordinate meetings, workshops, and conferences.

  • Assist with the reimbursement process for all expenses pertaining to the grant.

  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with stakeholders and the funding agency of the project.

  • Assist as liaison between the funding agency and the University.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
