Assistant Premier Manager

Our global Operations team make it possible for us to offer worldwide shipping to more than 180 countries, including same-day delivery to New York, London, Milan and Hong Kong, while providing a seamless shopping experience across mobile, tablet and desktop, with easy returns.

We have 9 distributions centres and 11 Customer Care centres who work with in 11 different languages and are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Operations are now seeking a talented Assistant Premier Manager (1-year Fixed Term Contract) to join the team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Department Size: 8

Reporting into: Operations Director, APAC

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

• Manage and develop teams to ensure cohesive processes and a common goal through clear communication channels

• Lead, develop and motivate direct reports to ensure continuous improvement 

• Ensure both teams (Customer Services & Delivery) receive ongoing training in accordance with the service training guides

• Manage regular appraisals, disciplinary, grievance and performance management procedures

• Ensure department standards of excellence and KPIs are adhered to and exceeded wherever possible

• Manage insurance, maintenance, and repair for a fleet of 4 vehicles

• Select and manage outsourced couriers and associated costs

• Manage outsourced software tools and suppliers

• Work closely with various departments to ensure that service levels and customer focus meet the agreed company standards  

• Manage and monitor the budget of HK Premier cost center

The type of person we are looking for:

• Proven track record in managing order fulfilment or customer services or fleet management function for high-value customers

• In-depth knowledge of the logistics business and experience in distribution

• Familiar with the supply chain environment 

• Possess great people management, presentation and interpersonal skills and be self-motivated

• Able to work under pressure to meet to tight SLA

• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC applications

• Fluency in English & Cantonese is a must
