Brown & Brown is seeking an Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA!
The Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager supports account servicing by handling certificates, endorsements, policy changes, and client inquiries. This role ensures accurate documentation, assists with renewals and proposals, and helps maintain compliance while supporting overall account management and growth efforts.
How You Will Contribute:
Manage a book of assigned accounts
Attend any required training sessions and courses to pursue insurance designations
Process certificates of insurance for the team
Scan and attach all mail/correspondence in AMS for the team that were not processed by the operations team
Respond to client emails and phone calls as assigned
Order loss runs
Copy and assemble proposals
Address policy change requests by processing endorsements
Check policies ensure each policy is delivered to the client within 30 days of receipt
Review and verify renewals and issue invoices
Increase revenue by crossing selling and writing new business
Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
Licenses and Certifications:
Active P&C License, or obtain within 90 days
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
1+ years’ experience in Property & Casualty insurance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience with AMS360 or ImageRight or insurer websites, a plus
