Key Responsibilities
- Client onboarding & operational support
- Support the onboarding team with client onboarding tasks, learning how CAS tailors onboarding for different clients, industries, and company sizes.
- Help maintain onboarding progress by organizing intake items, supporting workflow steps, and assisting with setup activities assigned by the team.
- Assist with cleanup and special projects, including catch-up accounting work and process support under supervision.
- Support basic accounting tasks such as data organization, reconciliations support, and preparation of client-ready outputs (with review).
- Systems & tools implementation exposure
- Assist with setting up new instances of accounting software and related tools, learning how systems are configured to support client needs.
- Gain exposure to the group’s tech stack (as applicable to client engagements).
- Rotate through Tech/eComm and Ops workstreams to understand team priorities, delivery models, and how work is coordinated across functions.
- Support the CFO/advisory team by assisting with updates to forecasting models (e.g., organizing inputs, updating assumptions under guidance).
By the end of the internship, the intern should be able to:
- Explain how CAS supports Tech and eCommerce clients from initial onboarding through ongoing service delivery, including the distinction between onboarding activities and steady-state work
- Demonstrate increased proficiency in modern accounting systems and an understanding of how technology and eCommerce complexity impacts accounting operations
- Apply and strengthen professional skills in communication, organization, and collaboration within a client-service environment
Qualifications
- Recommended Grad Timeline: May 2026 – August 2027
- Open to candidates from all academic majors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in or experience working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment
- Comfortable working within digital platforms and quick to learn new tools
