Job Description
- Performs day-to-day monitoring and support for the Proactis commercial applications.
- Creates scripts, applets and web tools to assist with monitoring, response, and availability recovery efforts.
- Receives, reviews, triage, escalates and where possible resolve a daily flow of incoming application support tickets.
- Executes scheduled/unscheduled commercial software deployments according to requirements.
- Creates Technical Documentation for hosted applications
- Performs day-to-day monitoring and support for the Proactis commercial applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree graduate.
- Basic understanding/skills in database technologies (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle), including SQL scripting.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and configuring Windows operating systems, including IIS and Windows Firewalls, with knowledge of working in a SaaS environment.
- Ability to debug and diagnose application logs and error messages for troubleshooting, as well as to resolve application, database, and Windows Server issues.
- Experience executing small projects to make improvements and providing support for larger projects as required.
- Experience in managing VMware, with an understanding of storage, snapshots, compute, and networks.
- Experience in writing and developing PowerShell scripts.
- Preferably has experience managing Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Preferably has an understanding of UK and EU GDPR legislation or a willingness to learn.
