Application Engineer - AI RTL Design and Verification

We’re looking for an Application Engineer to be the front line of ChipStack’s customer experience. You’ll lead technical engagements with cutting-edge semiconductor teams, to adopt our AI-native verification platform. This role blends hands-on engineering, customer success, and product shaping—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves solving first-of-its-kind challenges. You’ll scope new projects, support onboarding and integration, and build deep partnerships with design and verification teams. • Own customer engagement campaigns — from scoping and onboarding to integration

• Support post-sales adoption by helping customers succeed with ChipStack

• Build deep relationships with engineering teams to drive adoption and product usage

• Identify new use cases and expansion opportunities within customer organizations

• Translate customer feedback into features—build them yourself or work with engineering

• Be the customer’s voice inside ChipStack

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and a bias for action when facing vague, first‑of‑its‑kind problems.

• Solid hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux systems.

• Skilled in scripting using Python, Bash, TCL or similar languages.

• Understanding of RTL design using Verilog, SystemVerilog , VHDL.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Functional Verification skills: RTL Simulation (SVA and UVM), and Formal Verification

• Knowledge about ‘Chip Design’ flow and SoC architectures.

• EDA tools usage experience: Cadence (Xcelium, Jaspergold), Synopsys (VCS, VC Formal)
