We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with experience in IT Control Testing Automation within a 2nd Line Risk organization. This role focuses on supporting the Assurance Program by contributing to the development of analytics and automation solutions for IT control testing. The incumbent will be responsible for developing interactive and insightful reports and dashboards to support IT control testing and enable data-informed decision-making. The role requires strong technical skills in data analytics and experience in creating automated control tests, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and manage multiple priorities is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automated IT control tests using tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Python.
Monitor and optimize automated IT control testing processes and support related training and documentation.
Support data extraction, transformation, and validation for control testing and risk tooling initiatives.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and present findings to stakeholders.
Develop interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI and Power Platform.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting frameworks and automation workflows.
Assist with documenting processes, procedures, project work, and ad hoc requests as required.
Required Qualifications:
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in data analytics, automation, or IT control testing, preferably in Information Security or Technology Risk domains.
Proficiency in Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Basic familiarity with audit or 2nd line oversight practices and relevant industry frameworks.
Foundational understanding of technology risk.
Exposure to data analytics tools and concepts (e.g. Python, Excel, SQL).
Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard design principles.
University degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a STEM-related discipline.
Strong reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Adaptability to evolving workflows and changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Professional designations such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals or CompTIA Security+ are an asset.
