Data Strategy & Governance:
- Own the Amplitude data taxonomy, ensuring consistent, accurate, and high-quality event tracking across our mobile applications.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on the proper instrumentation of new features, ensuring data collection aligns with business objectives.
- Maintain and audit our existing Amplitude data to ensure reliability and trust for all stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses using Funnel, Retention, Cohort, and Pathfinder charts in Amplitude to understand user journeys, drop-offs, and feature adoption.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards and reports in Amplitude, Tableau, or other BI tools for product managers, marketing, and executive leadership.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and presentations for non-technical audiences.
- Support the A/B testing process by defining success metrics, analyzing test results for statistical significance, and providing recommendations for iteration.
- Identify key opportunities to improve user onboarding, feature engagement, and conversion rates based on behavioral data.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to define and measure success for new features and product updates.
- Work with Marketing teams to analyze campaign performance and their impact on in-product behavior.

EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION/ # OF YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/ REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Academic background in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Business)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience working with Amplitude
- Experience working with developers on “instrumenting” user behavior; experience in UI/UX research using quantitative methods
- A/B testing
