A. Job Description (GG 10)
A.1 Contracts - Drafting & reviewing of contracts - procurement, leases, sub-leases, statement of works and service level agreements.
A.2 Corporate Governance & Compliance - Assisting Head of Legal in the Organizational Corporate Governance & Compliance initiatives, including but not limited to FEMA, SEZ, STPI, GST, customs, company secretarial, and labor law related governance and other regulatory compliances.
A.3 HR & Employee matters - Assisting Head of Legal in HR & Employee based issues.
A.4 Litigation - Briefing external counsels and follow-up with consultants. Assisting Head of Legal in arbitration & recovery matters.
A.5 Company Secretarial functions - Work with Finance and Cosec department on their specific requirements.
A.6 Reporting & Miscellaneous functions including creation of reports for legal department and management reporting on Governance & Compliances.
B. Experience
B.1 Corporate Experience- must have
1. Legal Experience - Between 2 to 3 years, post qualification. Minimum two years' experience as in-house Junior Counsel or Counsel/Assistant Contract Manager/ Senior Legal Executive/equivalent.
2. Company Secretarial Experience (Optional) : Qualified Company Secretary - ACS, registered with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, as a Company Secretary in Service. Having upto 2 years' experience in Company Secretarial and FEMA related activities including working knowledge of SEZ requirements. (Semi Qualified Company Secretary Candidates with less experience may be considered on merits)
B.2 Litigation Experience- Good to have
C. Base Qualification & Other Skills
C.1 Law Graduate: (Preferred Delhi University pass outs/ full time course with minimum 50% marks in the Degree course). Diplomas in Labor Laws, international trade and business laws will be an added advantage.
C.2 Company Secretary (optional) : Qualification Certificate/degree from Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
C3 Other Skills: Adaptive, good command over English language, good communication skills.
D. Other desired abilities
D.1 Mobility (having own conveyance) will be an added advantage.
D.2 Residents of Noida, East Delhi & South Delhi - desirable
D.3 Ability to work in shifts- desirable
