The Role

Role Summary
Are you ready to shape the future of Pfizer's AI product development? We are seeking an exceptional AI Product Operations Manager to join our dynamic AI Pipeline Management Team, part of Pfizer Digital's Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Advanced Analytics (AIDA) organization with a 6month fixed-term contract. As a global role, collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll be at the forefront of driving operational excellence in AI product development and deployment. Your expertise in AI technologies and strong problem-solving skills will be crucial in addressing operational challenges and driving innovation within Pfizer. Responsibilities:

  • Champion Operational Excellence: Implement and optimize systems and processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of AI product development.
  • Resourcing: Coordinate and manage the allocation of resources across projects and AI development teams to optimize team performance and impact.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with vendors and partners, monitoring vendor performance.
  • Enable collaboration and alignment: Provide visibility and facilitate connections between and across product development teams and other stakeholders
  • Manage and Synthesize Data: Analyze, synthesize, and automate data created or used by product development teams to drive informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate Effective Communication: Ensure timely, audience-appropriate communication across the team and with stakeholders.
  • Drive Innovation: Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation within the AI product development pipeline.
  • Finance Management and Budget Tracking: Oversee financial commitments, ensuring they are consistent with corporate financial procedures. Maintain cost management records of budgets, forecasts, and expenditures for AI projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Ideally at least 5 years of experience working in product operations, product development, project management, or a similar related field with transferrable skills appropriate for the role.
  • Experience working in the field of AI or technology, or a strong interest in pursuing opportunities in this field.
  • Excellent skills in planning and analysis, and able to extract insights to drive decisions.
